Representing Adriana Ferreyr against George Soros for intentional infliction of emotional distress, promissory estoppel and fraud arising out of a long term relationship.

Obtained 1.2 million dollar verdict, for architectural- engineering firm GSGSB against the New York Yankees Partnership (based on quantum merit – “unjust enrichment”, following a three week jury trial before Magistrate Judge Francis S.D.N.Y. The case was the subject of two published decisions. (Opposing counsel Orrington, Herrick & Sutcliffe and then Dorsey and Whitney). November 1995

Nasso in six (6) year breach of contract and recoupment of a loan case against actor Steven Seagal in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York No. 03-Civ.-442 (CPS) (opposing counsel Shulte, Roth & Zabel, then Chadbourne and Parke LLP and then McDermott Will & Emery LLP. – Abbe D. Lowell and Eric J. Przybylko).

Successfully represented Film Producer Julius R. Nasso in defense of case by actor Steven Seagal for false imprisonment, assault, and intentional infliction of mental distress in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York Case No. CV 07 4055 (DLI) (opposing counsel Chadbourne and Parke LLP and McDermott Will & Emery LLP.– Abbe D. Lowell, Thomas J. Hall, and Eric J. Przybylko).

Successfully represented Gotham Boxing Inc. and Cedric Kushner in breach of contract and fraud case against Shelly Finkel, Shelly Finkel Management, Wladmir Klitschko, K2 Promotions Inc. and Sport Five in the Supreme Court of the State of New York Index No. 601479-07 (Opposing counsel Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP. Bruce J. Zabarauskas,).

Obtained substantial verdict in California case against Montel Williams for mental distress arising from an injury to a guest on his show.

Represented the Colombian Government in case of an orphan who wanted to return to Colombia following an airline accident and failed adoption in New Jersey – Superior Court New Jersey: Judge Birger Sween presiding. ( Opposing counsel Attorney General’s Office N.J.).

Represented Model Scott Barnhill in a case against Next Model Management for breach of contract, Supreme Court New York.

Represented Model Chris Collins in a case against “Phat Farm” for unauthorized use of his image.

Represented Madison Models against Laetiticia Casta in a model commission case in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York (Judge Swain).

Represented New York Models in cases dealing with Next, Boss, Ford, IMG.

Obtained $150,000.00 settlement on behalf on behalf of model injured by patron at “Le Bar Bat” Restaurant and Bar in Supreme Court New York County, opposing counsel Knoll, Rubin & Fiorella, LLP.

Represented former manager of “Fabio” in case of Gaynor v. Lanzoni – United States District Court, Southern District New York, Magistrate Judge Naomi Buchwald.

Obtained settlement on behalf of New York Model Management (NYM) for claim arising out of a top booker, staff and models leaving NYM and joining DNA Models, Supreme Court New York County, Judge Kahn (opposing counsel Grubman, Indursky & Schindler, P.C., – Stroock, Stroock & Lavan – Gersten, Savage, Kaplowitz, Fredricks & Curtain – Esanu, Katsky, Korins & Sigh LLP.

Represented Fabrizio Barbazza – Former Formula One Professional Driver in a personal injury and contract lawsuit against International Motor Sports Association and Road Atlanta Ltd in Supreme Court, Hall County Georgia. (Opposing counsel, King & Spalding – Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy – Swift, Currie, Mc Gee & Hiers, LLP – McLain & Merritt – Nall, Miller, Owens Hocutt & Howard,-Webb, Carlock, Copeland, Semler & Stair, LLP).

Represented plaintiffs Joel Wilkenfeld, David Wilkenfeld and J.J. Cortez in a shareholder derivative suit, breach of contract and fraud case against Rena Rowan, Sidney Kimmel et al., State Court, New York; Judge Shainswit presiding (Opposing counsel Berger, Steingut and then Robert Bursky, Esq.).

Successfully represented Michael Caridi in a case against actor Danny DeVito, Supreme Court New York arising out of a contract dispute over a “finder’s fee” for the raising of money. Case settled after the filing of a complaint.

Successfully represented Hunter Singer in a dispute with actor Al Pacino arising out of an investment in the file “Salomaybe” which was settled without the need to file suit.

Successfully represented Wallid Ismail – legendary martial artist – in a case against Pro Elite Inc. Santa Monica Partners, Gary Shaw and others in The United States District Court, Central District of California alleging fraud and breach of a partnership agreement before Judge Alan Feess (opposing counsel Kinsella, Weitzman, Iser, Kump, Aldisert, and Troy & Gould)

Represented White Chocolate Management LLC and Reed Wallace against “Rampage Jackson“, Juanito Ibarra and Juanito Boxing MMA for breach of contract, defamation, aiding and abetting, and tortuous interference with contract case filed in New York Supreme Court January 28, 2007 Index No. 604 244-07

Represented Patrick V. Palmer in fraud and prima facie tort case against Globalive Communications Corp. and Richard Langer pending in the United States District Court- Southern District of New York Index No.: 07-CV-038 (MGC) (opposing counsel Heller Ehrman LLP Kevin A. Burke).

Represented Universal Marine Medical Supply Inc. against Select Health Services, Waldemar Musial and Michele Musial for defamation, tortuous interference with contract and prima facie tort case filed in the United States District, Eastern District of New York January 2007 Index No. 1:07 5365 (BMC).

Represented Film Producer Julius R. Nasso in case against Loeb & Loeb for breach of fiduciary duty.

Represented Film Producer Julius R. Nasso in defamation law suit against the L.A Times.

Appointed by Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey as Special Criminal Counsel to handle Post Conviction Murder Case case before the Honorable Jonathan Harris, Superior court Bergen County, New Jersey. The case arose out of a murder for hire case in June 1986 and generated substantial local and national publicity. Previous attorneys included Alan Dershowitz.

Obtained multimillion dollar settlement in Probate Litigation matter, State Court Palm Beach, Florida, Hershel William against Estate Eppes Hawes Williams Fahnstock. (Opposing Counsel Gunster Crisley, Yoakly & Stewart).

Obtained largest libel verdict against private individual in State of New Jersey before Judge Norris Harding, Middlesex County, New Jersey. (Opposing counsel Wilentz Spitzer Goldman, et al).

Tried second largest cocaine conspiracy case in United States District Court, District of Las Vegas, Nevada(before Federal Judge Harry Claiborne) and then argued the case before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, San Francisco, California.

Represented plaintiff in Anti-trust and civil rights case in Federal Court Southern District of New York (Judge Whitman Knapp) – (opposing counsel Bower & Gardner, – Wilson Elser, Edelman et al).

Handled defense of gun customs case – Southern District of Florida and then handled the Appeal in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Handled failure to file tax return case, Federal Court, United States District Court, District of New Jersey before Magistrate Judge Haneke in which defendant was sentenced to house arrest.

Represented defendant in cocaine conspiracy case in the United States District Court, District of Philadelphia before Judge Joyner.

Represented a plaintiff in a case against Summit Solomon, Feldesman, et al arising out of a contract dispute. State Supreme Court, Hudson County, New Jersey.

Represented Maggie Minskoff in recovering 100% of a damage claim against Nordstern Insurance Company America including $20,000.00 of consequential damages arising out of damage to furniture being delivered from New York to London (Opposing counsel Rosenman & Colin).

Represented a claimant in recovering funds seized by customs agents for failure to declare sums over $10,000.00 in violation of the currency and Foreign Transactions Reporting Act.
